Finding out you’re pregnant when you weren’t planning on it is complicated and overwhelming, but when you are a student it can add even more stress. At the Gabriel Network, we are here to support you. We understand there are a lot of things to consider when you are a student and we can help.

How Can The Gabriel Network Help Pregnant Students?

Maternity Homes

We know getting pregnant can affect the housing arrangement you may currently have. If you are not in a safe or stable situation to carry or raise a child, we can help. Our maternity homes are rent-free, community housing for mothers and young children.

Angel Friends

Angel Friends is a network of volunteers that help a pregnant woman with the material, emotional, and spiritual challenges that come with a crisis pregnancy. Being pregnant as a student can be difficult and we can get you connected with someone who can walk alongside you and offer support. Learn more about how you can get connected with our Angel Friends program.

Sparling Scholarship

If you are concerned about not being able to continue your education due to the financial strain it may cause while raising a child, we can offer help. Through the generosity of Deacon Donald and Mrs. Sparling, Gabriel Network is pleased to offer the Lorraine Sparling Memorial Scholarship.  The Scholarship provides educational and professional development assistance to current Gabriel Network clients as well as funds of up to $2,000 per year to women who wish to continue their education.

If you are pregnant and in school, we have resources for you. Our mission is to support you in any way we can. To be connected with resources through to Gabriel Network, call our helpline at 800-ANGEL-OK (800-264-3565 ex.1 or 301-637-3223), Monday-Friday 9 AM to 5 PM.
