Gabriel Network provides free transitional housing through our Maternity Home Program. Eligible pregnant women are welcomed into this supportive environment as they prepare to welcome their babies into the world.

How Can a Maternity Home Help Me?

Maternity homes provide secure places for pregnant women to live as they begin their parenting journey. If you don’t have stable housing or have other living concerns, this may be the solution for you.

Gabriel Network operates two Maternity Homes in Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties. Our pregnant moms can live there until their babies are six months old.

You may need the support of a maternity home for many reasons. Raising a child can be financially challenging, and if you don’t have an adequate support system, it can feel impossible. Our Maternity Homes provide the long-term help and resources you need to succeed.

Here’s how our Maternity Homes help pregnant and parenting women:

• You’ll receive support from a community of mothers, each with their own hopes and dreams.
• You’ll be given tools to work toward self-sufficiency.
• You’ll be provided with special programming while at our Maternity Home, including classes and group devotional time.
• Have concerns about taking your next step, applying for a job, or receiving social services? We’ll answer your questions and direct you to the resources you need.
• We’ll help you with your housing search as you prepare for your family’s future.
• You’ll learn how to build a healthy home life for yourself and your child by living in a respectful, collaborative environment.
